  1. Electronic signature, multi user and publisher/office only fields

    I want these steps to be posable.
    1) I want to be able to have a from i can send with hidden/locked/publisher/office only fields in it.
    2) recipient can then fill out the fields they have access to
    3) recipient can electronic signature
    4) publisher/owner/office can fill out the locked fields, and send back completed from

  2. Open generated file immediately after submitting the form

    I use form publisher to generate invoices, and I immediately print two copies of the invoice. It would save me an immense amount of time if I could have the generated file auto open as a PDF when the form is submitted, instead of having to navigate to the associated spreadsheet and opening it up.

  3. Give us the option to trigger further scripts inside the form

    It would be nice if we had the ability to say "After the document is created, now we want you to run this script"

    Right now, I have "further actions" that need to be taken on a spreadsheet after it's created, but I'm having trouble determining how to trigger that.

  5. Fix time (duration)

    Doesn't transfer the duration correctly, no matter what format I make the receiving cell.
    I have tried plain text, date/time, time, duration.
    If I'm doing something wrong, please inform me.

  7. Checkbox Answer to Show As it Looks in the Form.

    Is it possible to answer a yes or no checkbox question in google form and have it appear in the auto-generated excel sheet as a filled/shaded box with the exact same question and options even when not chosen?

    So the answer checked off is filled in the sheet and the one that wasn't filled stills shows up the same way as it does in the google form.

    For example, the question on the google form...
    Do you like the color purple?
    [x] Yes
    [ ] No

    And on the excel sheet or document, I format it differently but want the…

  9. What happened to email tags?

    I used Form Publisher for an online hall pass system at my high school last year. One of the form fields was <<3. Student Destination>> and all of our staff members were listed in this format:

    Last Name, First Nme <Email>. When a teacher submitted a hall pass, the destination teacher would receive an email with the hall pass in pdf form.

    Something happened now and it won't send the pdf attach in an email with our staff listed in that format. It only works if it's just their email address. Anyway that can be reverted? Or am I doing…

  10. Allow more than one Signature. At least Validater and Respondent...

    Main Request: The ability to require a Signature from the Respondent, and a Signature from the Validater of a document.
    Secondary Request: It would be nice to be able to put as many signature Fields, or Initial Fields in a document as one needed. Which could be used for Sign-up sheets, Petitions, and Many other things. I think adding the ability to Sign a document was a huge step forward. I believe these two ideas would be a great addition to Form Publisher.

  11. create an option to only generate a pdf

    Our system works best with PDFs, but the folder is full of duplicate docs and pdfs in this system. I would appreciate being able to eliminate the doc creation from the beginning and only generate PDFs.

  12. MARKERS | Standard Google Markers

    It would be great if it was possible to use whatever standard Google Form/Sheet markers.

    A typical scenario is using the standard variables provided when submitting forms, eg: timestamp, response id, etc.

  13. Love it! Just wish it would auto-regenerate if people edit their form responses.

    Just wish it would auto-regenerate if people edit their form responses. Having to remember go in and manually regenerate forms when I don't always know when someone has edited their responses is less than ideal.

  14. Hide markers of unanswered questions

    When you go to print a document, if the question wasn't answered the whole marker shows up. It would be great if you could hide unused markers once a new document is generated.

  15. Link to the generated pdf

    I would like to include in an email notification a link to the pdf generated by Form publisher, in addition to the pdf file itself.
    This way, users would be able to share the links to the generated pdfs in social media and discussion boards

  16. Option to Include Column Header Dynamically with Response in Form

    Very simply idea. Right now when you create your form template you input the header between the brackets <<like this>>. This will display just your answer. What would be really nice, is if there was a way to indicate that you would like to display the header (i.e. question from the form) followed by the answer, maybe just by adding an extra bracket <<<like this>>>.

    So for example, if we have a Form question that is "Requested Ship Date" that can be dynamically answered with a MM/DD/YYYY answer. This means you would have a header in your answers spreadsheet matching…

  18. Generate and send DOCX/XSLX file attachment

    In my workflow we need to send a customized DOCX files that the recipient must be able to edit but currently the only only option to send files to non-google users is in PDF.

    Attaching the Word or Excel would be perfect.

    One other way would be to allow changing the document sharing to "anyone with the link may view" and this way one could download the file.

  19. Have multiple layout options.

    I would love to be able to select an option that allows me to view the form information differently. With the current layout, the questions appear at the top of the page and the responses underneath. I would like to have the option for the questions to be lined up in a column (so instead of them being across, they'd be down 1,2,3,etc.) and the responses put to the left of them.
