  1. multiple markers of the same name.

    Hi, i love this add on! It's fantastic. one problem I encountered was that there are multiple markers of the same name in my form, and in the template it seems to randomly choose one.

    For example, I am collecting information about students and their parent contacts.

    I have a question for a student: First Name
    and a question for the parent: First Name

    In the template, it then has Student Information: <<First Name>>, and it sometimes populates that with the parent first name. I've renamed the questions to Student First Name & Parent First Name but this seems clunky…

      Doesn't transfer the duration correctly, no matter what format I make the receiving cell.
      I have tried plain text, date/time, time, duration.
      If I'm doing something wrong, please inform me.

      • create an option to only generate a pdf

        Our system works best with PDFs, but the folder is full of duplicate docs and pdfs in this system. I would appreciate being able to eliminate the doc creation from the beginning and only generate PDFs.

        • Love it! Just wish it would auto-regenerate if people edit their form responses.

          Just wish it would auto-regenerate if people edit their form responses. Having to remember go in and manually regenerate forms when I don't always know when someone has edited their responses is less than ideal.

            Need to be able to have a customer sign the form and have it appear on the report that is generated.

              • Generate and send DOCX/XSLX file attachment

                In my workflow we need to send a customized DOCX files that the recipient must be able to edit but currently the only only option to send files to non-google users is in PDF.

                Attaching the Word or Excel would be perfect.

                One other way would be to allow changing the document sharing to "anyone with the link may view" and this way one could download the file.

                • Have multiple layout options.

                  I would love to be able to select an option that allows me to view the form information differently. With the current layout, the questions appear at the top of the page and the responses underneath. I would like to have the option for the questions to be lined up in a column (so instead of them being across, they'd be down 1,2,3,etc.) and the responses put to the left of them.

                    It would be nice if, when saving PDF's in the destination folder, it ONLY saved a PDF, not a copy of Google Sheets as well.

                        The ability to route a submitted form to an email of an approver with the options to approve or decline the submitted form and then a follow up to the submitter if the form submission is approved or declined. At the same time to forward on the submission upon approval to another respective email for subsequent action.

                          AppSheet. Take a look at it. One problem I see is that when you "Save" a form in AppSheet it will not trigger FormPublisher. It required (I'm assuming your triggers are set up this way) a "Submit" button rather than a "Save" button. The form doesn't publish.

                              I use form publisher to generate invoices, and I immediately print two copies of the invoice. It would save me an immense amount of time if I could have the generated file auto open as a PDF when the form is submitted, instead of having to navigate to the associated spreadsheet and opening it up.

                              • Save the PDF in a different folder than the original document/spreedsheet.

                                This way you can keep the original document/spreedsheet in a folder that is not shared but the PDF can be in a folder that is shared. The original document/spreedsheet will be safe from being modified by other users.

                                      I need that Form Publisher create as file and PDF as send PDF to recipient to <<e-mail>> from Form.

                                      But when a can not get <<e-mail>> I do not need to Form Publisher nor file creation nor PDF creation nor PDF sending. That is I need check-box for switch on|off this option.

                                        This would enable really awesome integration with other software. I'm thinking specifically of Trello, but i'm sure it applies elsewhere as well. (To use the email-to-Trello feature, you have to put tags in the subject line, etc., which I don't want in the emails that my colleagues receive notifying them of the newly published document.)

                                          In the Google Spreadsheet which collects responses to our Google Form, the data collection spreasheet is not the first tab, as we have added a pivot table which summarizes the spreadsheet data in the first tab. Form Publisher incorrectly added its [Form Publisher], Increment, [Form Publisher] Doc URL and [Form Publisher] PDF URL columns to the first spreadsheet rather than the one which contains the actual form data.
