I think this can also be very useful for things like creating invoices.
You can have the user select the PRODUCT/SERVICE they are wanting in the Google Form, then Form Publisher would go to the MASTER REFERENCED SHEET to get the associated PRICE and fill in the area on your template document.
This way you can update your prices on your MASTER REFERENCED SHEET and all documents would have the newest pricing on them
*** In addition to make this fully functional would be the ability to sum the total referenced cells and fill in the template with a marker such as __##SUM##__

I like this idea as well.
If a User "edits their response" we now have two documents with the same name, which can get confusing especially when they decide to "edit their response 2, 3 or even more times.
Having the option to "REPLACE / UPDATE" the existing document makes sure everyone is on the same page at all times.
